My Library Account Features
- Place a hold.
- View checkouts, due dates, and request renewals.
- Create and save reading lists for assignments or topic exploration.
Returning Users: Login to My Library Account.
First-time Users: Follow the account setup instructions below, or watch a Video Tutorial.
- Go to the my library account sign-in screen.
- Enter your Valley ID number.
- Follow the set/reset password link on the sign-in screen.
- Check your KVCC email and follow the prompts to set up your password.
- Return to the sign in screen to access your account.
Place a Hold
- Available items will be pulled and made available for convenient pick up at the circulation desk at your preferred branch.
- Items on loan will be placed on hold for you when returned.
- Receive email confirmation when your hold has been placed and another email when it is ready to be picked up.

Click the “Place Hold” button in the “Check Availability” section of the item record.

The catalog will prompt you to sign in to place the hold.

Choose your preferred pickup location.
View Loans, Due Dates, and Request Renewals
- Sign in to your account.
- Select "checkouts" from the pull pull-down on the top right.
- Request renewals for eligible items.
Create and Share Reading Lists
Create and share reading lists for research projects or personal interests.
- Sign in.
- Select the star icon to save items to a temporary list.
- You will see the "saved items" total increase as you add items.
- Click on "saved items."
- Create and name your list.
- Access and share your lists from the main account menu.
