Borrow Course Reserves/Textbooks

Laptops, digital cameras, hot spots, calculators, device chargers, and headphones are available for check out. The libraries have over 50,000 physical books and 2,000 films available for check out. Assigned textbooks and other course materials for the top 25 enrolled classes, in addition to hundreds of other course specific books and resources, are available for check out.



  All current KVCC students, faculty, and staff are eligible to borrow from the library.

  Your Valley ID, or any other valid ID, may be used to borrow materials.

Borrow and return technology at the Circulation/Reserve desk at both campus libraries.

Laptops and Hotspots

Laptops and a limited number of wi-fi hotspots are available for check out. Students must complete a Laptop/Hotspot request form.

A variety of calculators, including graphing and scientific, are available for check out at both libraries.


Digital cameras are available for check out to students enrolled in digital photography courses. Students taking photography courses at Texas Township Campus (TTC) should borrow a camera from the TTC Library, and those taking courses at the Center for New Media should borrow from the Arcadia Commons Campus Library. Verification of enrollment in a photography course is required for check out.

Chargers and Headphones

Device chargers and headphones are available for check out. Device chargers and headphones are for use on campus and are not available for overnight check out.

Borrow Books and Media

Borrow books and media at the Circulation/Reserve desk at both campus libraries. A self checkout machine is also available on the lower level of the Texas Township Campus Library. Except for reference materials and magazines/newspapers, all of the libraries' books and media are available for borrowing.
