Research Basics: Finding Scholarly Journal Articles

Information is everywhere.  It's easy enough to do an internet search for information.  So, why use library resources for your next paper or project?

• Libraries provide credible information from reliable sources.
• Libraries select resources - print and online - that are from reputable publishers. 
• Library resources typically have identifiable authors. 
• Libraries provide balanced information from diverse points of view. 
• Libraries pay for access to information, so that students can access high-quality information for free. 
• Librarians are standing by to assist with using, evaluating and citing information, regardless of where you find it.
